As I watched the rejection letters roll in, I became more and more disappointed and discouraged. I thought about giving up. It was difficult to continue on after so much criticism and rejection. Having a famous face singing your praises immediately gives you credibility. People want to be part of what you are doing, they want to hear stories about your famous friends. Clients line up just so that they can be associated with YOU.
Let’s face it. In our society, celebrity sells.
Celebrity endorsements have worked for giant corporations for years so why not use this technique to launch your own business?!
And it’s not just for authors….
Imagine the mayor or your local celebrity newscaster telling people how much he values your work and how much you’ve helped him….
